Kaligandaki Valley(Jomsom - Muktinath) area is situated in north of Pokhara. Gorepani, where we spend one night before decending Tatopani offers some of the most dramatic close-up views of the highest and most beautiful mountains in the world. In addition, this region is known for some of the most abrupt altitude variations experienced anywhere. We will see a magnificent sunrise at Poon Hill, before descending Tatopani (hotspring) and then we encounter the worlds deepest gorge, where the powerful Kali Gandaki River has cut deep through the Himalaya between the massive peaks of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, view of wonderful Dhaulagiri Icefall. As we trek up the Kali Gandaki valley, we pass though the traditional and prosperous villages of Tukuche, Ghasa, Marpha and Jomsom.
